For the record, teenagers are insane! Ok maybe not all teenagers, but for sure those that are 16 and premenstral. I took K to see Nancy and everything was okie dokie until the ride home. She informs me that she wants to get a job, which wouldn’t be a problem except for:
A) She has a hard time managing her school work without the added responsibility of holding down a job.
B) She has no way of getting to and from a job and has made no effort to get her learner’s permit so she can then get a driver’s license.
Now I’m the bad guy for pointing this out to her and suggesting that we wait until she provides some evidence, like a report card showing at least C average, to indicate she’s ready for the added responsibility. No argument would be complete without hearing how she can hardly wait to turn 18 so she can get out of this HELL HOLE once a for all. This is where the crazy really shows. I mean this kid is utterly clueless to the fact that she has it made. Sometimes I think she would be better off if she actually had a reason to bitch, rather than just looking for things to be pissed about.
