I spent the weekend just taking it easy. The girls and I went to Mom’s yesterday for dinner. It was nice to see the family. Mom was looking much better. The last few times I’ve seen her, she’s looked tired and stressed out. Yesterday she looked well rested and relaxed.
Today Alan was off, so he, Tay and I went to see the Bourne Ultimatum. It was action packed, but unfortunately the action was so jerky and close in, it gave me a headache watching it. Plus, the third didn’t have much story. I & II were much more interesting, with the mystery of Jason Bourne and his search to find the men who controlled him. Now that we know he is a government assassin, the only unanswered question is how was he selected? It didn’t look as though we were going to get an answer in this installment, but in the end, the story came full circle.
It was a relaxing, low key holiday weekend. I just wish I had gotten more homework done. Plus I still have to write a couple of articles for Fictionway & Ice Barrel. So I better get to it.
