Weight Watchers - Week 3

I lost 1.8 lbs this week, total so far is 8 lbs. I should be pleased right? Well, you know how it goes when you start obsessing over your diet…the weight can’t come off fast enough. Even though it comes on in a heartbeat. At least that’s how it seems.

The topic last night was cleaning up your environment, getting rid of the temptations and recognizing your weak moments. My biggest weakness is when I get too hungry, I will eat whatever is fastest and available, to hell w/ points or calories. I tend to keep snacks @ my desk, like granola bars or canned fruit, just in case I get the mid afternoon munchies. It’s better than going to the vending machine. I’m also usually starving when I get home from work, so I’ll snack before dinner. I try to limit myself to a handful of almonds or a piece of fruit, but if there isn’t something quick and easy, I’ll resort to chips or crackers. Of course the only chips or crackers we have in the house are Nutrisystem, but they’re still empty points. And then I’m still hungry @ dinner.

I just need to be aware of my weak moments and have healthy options available.
