I decided to go back to MCC. I was so pissed when I registered for summer that I was going to go to U of Phx or DeVry and forget about MCC. I broke down because I only need about 7 more classes to get my AAS. It’s only taken me 5 years to get to this point, and I just can’t give up now.
What pissed me off was their response to Prop 300, legislation that requires Non US Citizens to pay Out of State Tuition. Of course, they pass all the burden onto their students, requiring proof of citizenship at the time of registration. Never mind that I’ve been going to the freak’n school for 5 years and they have all my info already, including my SSN.
Ok, so I caved and sent a photocopy of my driver’s license. But I made sure it was a really crappy copy. That’ll teach ‘em. Ha!
