Ok, I’m not really liking the Nutrisystem plan. I’ve still been counting calories, but eating Nutrisystem meals in place of Lean Cuisine or what I would normally eat. The Nutrisystem food isn’t really low cal, it’s just really small portions. And honestly, I don’t think it tastes that good. For example, I usually eat 2 pkgs of Oatmeal each morning, which is ~320 cals for breakfast. 1 pkg of the Nutrisystem Oatmeal is 200 cals and it doesn’t taste nearly as good as Quakers. So why switch from a name brand that taste good and has (@ 160 cals per pkg) less calories? Then consider the added cost of Nutrisystems and it’s a no brainer.
Which brings me to the next option, Weight Watchers. KJ & I are going to start in July. We both plan on losing 35 lbs this summer and if she does, I’ll spring for her to get her hair dyed before school. Ummm, that should be interesting considering some of the hair colors she’s done @ home. I wonder what a professional will do. Same deal for T, although I don’t think she wants to do WW. We’ll see how it goes. I mean the first thing, for all of us, is deciding that it’s time to lose weight.
I like how Dr. Phil puts it…”You’re fat, because you choose to be fat.”
Time to choose to be fit, trim and healthy.
