Alan has been on Nutrisystems for about 6 wks now, and he’s doing great! Last I heard he lost about 22 lbs. So I’m giving it a try too. I’ve only been on it for about a week and I didn’t get my starting weight, so I don’t know if I’ve lost anything. But I did brave the scale Monday, so now I can keep track.
The food is just so so. I think it must have a ton of salt to preserve it, because nothing needs refrigeration. There is just something creepy about chicken breasts or roast beef that doesn’t need to be refrigerated. If it’s not vaccum sealed, it’s dried: eggs, soup, mashed potatos, etc.
I’ve committed to doing it for 12 wks. I would like to lose 30-40 lbs by the end of the summer. Ideally, I’d like to lose 20 before San Diego. We’ll see…
